Virtual Katinka Day​Hosted by the Kodály Association of Southern California 

Come join us at the 2020 Katinka Day celebration, brought to you in a way Katinka Dániel could never have imagined - over Zoom! We’ll share the history of Katinka’s life and work, KASC stories from years gone by, memories, performances, and the pleasure of each other’s company. Now more than ever, we must gather and celebrate music’s power to “one day heal mankind.”

It includes a schedule of events, distance learning resources, and some recipes for authentic Hungarian dishes! During our virtual event, Dr. Kathy Hickey will be taking us step-by-step through the recipe for Traditional Chicken Paprika, and we would love for you to experience this Hungarian cuisine first hand. Within this kit, you will find a checklist of everything you need to prepare for our virtual cooking lesson.
